I’ve learned a lot during my years of freelancing and now I’m passing all of my best freelancing tips and advice on to you.

When you’re new to the ‘hood, it can be tough to find decent freelancing advice out there. Too many articles that you come across are full of fluffy “tips” like “always have a contract,” without giving you detailed information on what should be in that contract.

Worse yet, they’ll jump right to that tidbit without any solid advice for how to go out and get clients so you’ll even need that contract.

Not here on Live Work Travel. I started freelancing from scratch with no idea of what I was doing and no one to show me the way. In just a few years, I built a 6-figure freelance business from the ground up and started this blog to help thousands of others do the same.

These blog posts are a (growing) collection of my best tips for freelancing.

It doesn’t matter whether you are a complete freelancing beginner, or have been in business for years, these tips on freelancing will help you grow your business!

We’ll cover things like:

  • what freelancing is
  • how to get started
  • where to find work
  • many of the freelancing tools I use
  • and ton’s of the mistakes I made early on and advice on how to avoid making the same ones.

These tips on freelancing will enable you to confidently start your own freelancing business armed with the knowledge that you’re getting solid freelancing advice from someone who has been in your shoes (or perhaps even worse off than you right now!)

If there are any freelancing tips that you’d like me to write about in the future, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
